To order your Repeat Prescriptions Online please medication7click on the link above.  Before you are able order online you first need to obtain your online access details. These can be collected from Reception when requested with drivers license or passport as your proof of identity.

ACUTE Prescriptions

When a medicine is provided as a short course of treatment for a specific reason this is referred to as an acute prescription.

We also use that term when a medicine has been recently started and the dose is being adjusted or the clinical team member wants to review whether the medicine is helping your symptoms before providing a further prescription.  A review will be necessary before a further prescription is provided, which may be with a GP or Clinical Pharmacist. The clinical team member providing the prescription will advise you on this.

REPEAT Prescriptions

Once a stable dose has been agreed for your treatment it would be added as a repeat prescription and you will be able to obtain further supplies for an agreed period of time without review by a member of the clinical team.

The frequency of your review, may be influenced by your clinical condition or the need for routine monitoring such as blood tests.
